God,

I sit here cross legged

the moon facing me

the stars expanding my vision

for you.

the breeze is drying my hair

but it is not cold

I am content

to watch the moon

& you

each moment so gentle

so full of deep future

deep presence

sometimes I wonder what you are thinking

when you give me such tranquility

such awe

perhaps this is your way

of reminding me

you are here

& you always will be

the fluffy white kitten

is purring

oblivious

the lake is glass

like a mirror reflecting his sky

the moon is bright

shining on the lake

the mountains are watching

thier own reflection

late rays of sun are filtering

over the peaks

and reaching far

towards me

to be oblivious

like the kitten

to only purr

and love our God
