ginger lyric

a u r o r a

eat yogurt. with granola.

you come to mind when i eat yogurt.

the sky above the mountains a dark turquoise.

the fresh minutes of morning beckoning for the sun to arrive.

splashing touches of light onto our mountains.

the clouds break & the mountains reflect the pink,

the contrast of deep sky and glowing mountains.

the cold air spikes, the crystals of ice shimmer.

the ache to somehow show this to u.

to love this with you.

horses play. kicking up cold air.

portraying a picture you want to keep.

this morning i feel blessed.

to have you. and to have this life.

to have this beauty. framing this ranch.

my heart in one big picture.

aside from those blessings are so many more.

there's this girl. she has dirty blonde hair. tossed into a messy bun. a bandana hastily tied in a knot.

her freckles sparkle & her smile contagious. the light she gives is above the clouds.

she has my blood.

a tiny town, in arizona. called her to come. to come and to love. but she's coming home to visit.

tomorrow.

the excitement in me. is more then u can imagine.

so see that hippy child.

& when i see her the tears will roll down my cheeks. the happy will spill. the adrenaline of welcoming her home. yes that girl with dirty blonde hair.

we will hold hands. & we will be so happy.

tianna josephine that i love.

aside from all these blessings there is sadness.

a child can not change the world.

a child can not change a person.

but through Jesus we can pray.

we can trust. we can have faith.

and we can have faith in our own faith.

but for these things we need to put Jesus first.

the hurt when someone leaves you.

the hurt when someone leaves the Jesus we love.

pray for the family.

the hurt when they just simply don't care.

we pray for those people.

the hurt when she loves someone & they go get married to someone else. pray for her.

when someone they love leaves the earth.

you will see them again child. but pray for their mourning.
