the fields roll yellow.  melting into those loved porcupines.

the mountains watch.  they approve.  

blessed.

the biggest word is love. 

p. s. + as long as the dew turns green wth the grass. + the birds sing thier morning song. i will love u. 

as the calf on wobbly legs learns to walk. so will the rivers continue. this life will go on. + so will we. life isn’t over. until it is. + until then will i love u.

those minute details in this chapter.   

christian life holds many questions.  

and the answers lie in reach. 

but do we reach for those answers.  

do these answers save the lost. 

are we looking deep enough into these wild hearts wrapped in fragile.  

the lights dim. 

the house quiet & the breeze. 

slipping outside into the dark she touches the air. & swiftly trotting to the top of the hill she regarded the soft glow of the moon and stars on the mountains. the pine trees waving, reflecting a muffled silence.  & the tranquility. with her mind on the God above. her feelings overwhelmed. 

the tears slip & fall. & reaching her hand to the sky she asks him to draw nearer. she tells him she will do better.  & that feeling of running fast with the birds. the sun warm on your freckled face & the joy bubbling out in happy laughter. that feeling of being so free. horses running fast through the trees.  jumping off that high rock into that clear mountain lake. that feeling. light. & being this God girl that you are & feeling blessed. 

that feeling.

& of course she doesn't know why this day was hard.  her body weak. and there's so many thoughts. in her head that have such joy.  but still the tears come. maybe just the change. 

driving down this winding road with the family he blessed her with.  she gazes out the window. imaging herself running along with the car.  the wind whipping through her horses mane & her tears being dried by the wind.  she imagined that. it brought a smile and she forget the bandage on her arm. the hard day. 

& she remembered him telling her.  pray. always pray. & smile. always smile.  ♥︎
